Palace Schemes of East and West 東西宮略 Costume Fitting

Fala Chen jumping in joy seeing Chow Yun Fat on set

Accused of being in the 'Stephen Party', TVB FaDans Sharon Chan and Fala Chen took part in the costume fitting for new series Schemes of East and West with Roger Kwok. Sharon was asked if its because she's Stephen Chan's favorite that she got the opportunity to take on the leading role? Sharon said: "Not related, this series was set several months ago. (Are you a loyal member of the 'Stephen Party'?) He is a good boss, friend and my mentor. He taught me how to be a host. We aren't in any party, just being ourselves." As part of the 'Stephen Party', Sharon sweet talked and thanked Virgina Lok for helping her fight for the opportunity to portray this role. When speaking of it being a benefit to her, now that Stephen is back in TVB? She said: "Didn't think about that. I am already thankful that he's fine. I was worried for a long time because before I was a 'witness' and it wasn't convenient for me to say too much. Now it's a sign of relief. I have SMS him and he replied that everything is going well."

As for Fala, she plays Chung Mo Yim. She expressed she has been mindful of Stephen's return, asked if she's part of the 'Stephen Party'? She joked: "Before they said I was part of the Tsang Jeh party (Catherine Tsang), then the Miss Lok party (Virgina Lok), I have been in all of the parties except for the villain party." Roger Kwok said he congratulates Stephen having new hopes after a disastrous period. He said: "We were familiar for a period before, but later I had to look after my son and shoot in Mainland, so we didn't keep in touch as much."

Also, yesterday Fala started shooting outdoor scenes for the new series and coincidentally encountered Film King Chow Yun Fat, who had paid attention to her performances before. Fala was jumping in joy when she saw him and asked for a photo together to post on Weibo. She wrote: "Fat Gor stood behind me and watched me perform. I worked hard trying to concentrate, aiya, so pressuring!" Koni Lui also got to take a photo with Chow Yun Fat.

'Lives of Omission' finale already exposed, Producer may alter it (Spoilers)

[Warning: Contain Spoilers]
Last week, Lives of Omission TV ratings had an average of 31 points, peaking at 33 points. The finale will air on September 9th, while the film version will start shooting soon after. To boost the momentum, TVB scheduled the cast to watch the finale together with the audience at Emax on the finale night. Since last year's No Regrets, it has already been over half a year since TVB did another finale promotion. Looks like this series is getting quite a bit of attention. Producer Chong Wai Kin cannot say there won't be a sequel after the Lives of Omission film version.

The Lives finale has already been exposed, including Jodie's (Fala Chen) death and Paris (Kate Tsui) betraying Bai Co (Bosco Wong). Producer Chong still hasn't finished editing the finale episode yet, therefore the exposed ending isn't the complete story. He will make the appropriate changes to the ending based on the audience reactions. He expressed that Fala's death in the finale is a mystery because there is an inside story behind the death, it is not known whether or not she really dies. The truth will be disclosed in the film version. As for Bosco and Kate's ending, the decision will be made this week. Producer Chong said Damien Lau's role was initially a villain role, but because everyone's strong dislike, his role was changed. He has confidence that audience will anticipate the ending. Asked if Lives will have a sequel too? He expressed the film version has to start shooting first, just as long as there are public praises and good TV ratings, there is a chance for a sequel.

Fala Chen & Michael Tse become a hot couple team

The other night, Michael Tse and Fala Chen were both presented with the most trendy icon award by the magazine JESSICA CODE. The two both expressed their current TVB series Lives of Omission brought them the honor with a high exposure rate lately. Their jobs are greatly increasing. Michael expressed because of his 'Laughing' role, he has been earning a slightly higher income than before. Recently, people often chase after him asking about the storyline, he said: "Whenever people see me, besides taking pictures and greetings, they will ask me about the storyline. I often answer them by saying I lost my memory and don't remember because I feel that there's no point in watching if you know the story. Also, it won't be as fun to watch. This time there are clearly more male fans taking the initiative to ask me for pictures, which I haven't experienced before."

As it was reported that his wife is pregnant, Michael helplessly said: "There were some magazines that wrote this, perhaps because the magazines want to entertain readers. If my wife is pregnant, I will definitely notify everyone. Of course I do have plans to have kids, but the priority now is I must earn more money first, so I can ensure my children's future." Is Michael rushed? He said: "Both of our families have never been rushed. As for my wife and I, we are still completely enjoying the life of just the two of us."

Fala expressed lately there have been many advertisers asking her and Michael to attend events together. Besides Hong Kong, there are also several in Mainland too. The two practically see each other every other day. Towards the Mainland PRC 'limit order', limiting HK and Taiwan artists to appear on Mainland TV programs? Fala said: "The limit just applies to variety shows, we are just attending business events, shouldn't be related or affected." Asked if there is an appearance money increase for them to appear as a 'couple team'? She said: "My manager discuss the prices, I am not too sure myself. The most important is the more jobs the better and to have audience acceptance." Is Fala's boyfriend jealous of her intimate scenes with Michael? Fala laughed: "No jealousy. There aren't any intimate scenes, just that one CPR scene, which is not considered an intimate scene. Rescuing and kissing are are different feeling, thus isn't embarrassing when we shoot."
