Yesterday Fala Chen was on the radio station for an interview. When asked if she's planning to hold her wedding reception this year? She expressed she has no plans yet, but exposed that at Timmy Hung's wedding, she and Sharon Chan were approached by Toby Leung. Fala said: "Toby said when we get married in the future, she must help us plan it, I also believe she does a very good job."

Its been long rumored that Fala and boyfriend Sit Sai Hang are already married. When asked if she believes just signing the papers means marriage or does she want to go by traditions and host a wedding reception too? She just said: "When the time comes, I'll make it public, no need to rush. A lot of my Fans said they want to see me get married too, so I'm a little pressured. I personally like Western styles, and my relatives are all overseas. Let you all know later." She frankly expressed she does not like to talk about her love life: "Thank you all for the concern, but I don't want to say too much, leave a little feeling of mystery!"

Marie Zhuge's wedding, 'sister-in-law' Fala Chen gets no tea

29 year old Marie Zhuge and 32 year old Neway's second young master Sit Kar Leun tied the knot yesterday. Yesterday, Marie's 'future sister-in-law' Fala Chen, whom she is consistently rumored on bad terms with, was also present to witness the couple's marriage as part of the groom's family. It was said the newly weds followed the Chinese traditions and gave tea to parents of both sides, but no tea was given to elder brother Sit Sai Hang and his girlfriend Fala.

As Leun and Marie did do the traditional tea ceremony in the morning, asked if they gave tea to elder brother and Fala too? Leun was unwilling to respond directly, he said: "The tea ceremony is serious, I don't want to talk about gossip news. Today I want to talk about our big day. At around 7pm, the wedding reception was held at the HKCEC. Fala appeared alone in a white tube dress. The main tables at the reception was divided into two sections, one for the groom's family and other other for the bride's family. Fala was arranged to sit with the groom's family. She and Marie sat between the Sit Brothers. At around 9pm, the MC asked the groom's family and friends to give a toast to the newly weds. Fala and Sit Sai Hang went on stage hand-in-hand, proving Fala's 'Dai So' (older sister-in-law) status!

"I wholeheartedly send my blessings"

Later Fala accepted an interview and when asked if she took part in the bride pickup ceremony? She said: "I'm part of the groom's family, so I didn't see the bride pickup, but I saw Marie getting off the sedan chair, it was so cute." However, when asked if Marie gave her tea? Fala avoided and did not answer: "There were a lot of elders around. (You're the Dai So?) Not considered. I drink tea too. (You're not qualified to take the tea?) That's hard to define. (Younger brother gets married earlier than older brother, must crawl under Big brother's trousers?) I never heard of that before, I didn't see that ceremony either. (Which means you're married?) That does not mean anything, I came back from overseas, so I don't know these things."

Fala also expressed there were a lot of people at the reception, so she didn't get a chance to take pictures with others yet. Asked if she and Marie broke the ice? She denied that they are on bad terms: "There's no ice, what is there to break? (Relationship turned better?) No, that's just the rumor. Rumors are rumors. I wholeheartedly send my blessings to them. (Does Marie now address you differently?) The younger generation just goes by the English names." Fala said she had been thinking about marriage, but has not been rushed by the elders, let nature take its course.

Fala Chen wants romantic bikini-styled wedding

Fala Chen and Jacquelin Chong attended SHISEIDO's event yesterday. Fala reveals she will be attending future sister-in-law Marie Zhuge's wedding and has already prepared a gift with her boyfriend (Sit Sai Hang) for the newly weds. However, she expressed the gift isn't the traditional gold jewelries. Asked if Marie will have to follow the tradition and give her tea? Fala said: "I don't know! But, I have to work that morning, so only can attend the wedding reception in the evening. (Will you make up for it?) Not sure, I don't know the arrangements and procedures."



It was rumored that Fala was displeased by her partner Sharon Chan for changing the schedules so she can accept more jobs. Fala denied: "When shooting a series, it's difficult for the schedule to not have any changes. Changing locations or unfinished scenes are all very normal. We won't have such feeling at work." She stressed she and Sharon are good friends, and often have dinner in private. At another event, Sharon also expressed: "In fact, every artist will try to schedule time out to go make some extra income. We will communicate well and won't cause unhappiness for others. There will also be no affect on our friendship."          

Fala Chen fortunate to have boyfriend to help her get through tough times

Last year when Fala Chen was shooting Queens of Diamonds and Hearts, she felt unwell and suffered from facial paralysis. Soon after she took a long break to recover. Yesterday Fala reveals during the interview that there were some scenes in the Queens where she was one person playing three characters with different personalities. Also, Chung Mo Yim's makeup and costume takes at least 2 hours to put on each time, therefore she eventually became exhausted and stressed, just like having schizophrenia.

Comedies are pretty OK

Fala admitted she had a pot full of stress at the time: "I felt so uncomfortable all over, collapsed mentally. During that time, I took off several times to see the doctor, but the cast were all really good and took good care of me. They knew that I was emotionally unstable, so they told me to rest, gave me psychological advice and chatted with me. Initially I was to participate in Prominent Family, but I really couldn't do it. Results, I took 2 months vacation and went back to the US to allow myself to relax a bit." Fala's boyfriend Sit Sai Hung also accompanied her in the US, did Mr. Sit ask her to retire? Fala said: "No. He has never said that, he really supports me. Actually he chats with me a lot and asks me what do I want to do. He even praises that I'm pretty good with comedies. As far as my career, he has given me a lot of advice."



Waiting for the opportunity to head up North
Fala is currently preparing and recording for her debut album. The songs aren't purely about love, there are also some songs about life and aspirations. Fala has no pressure whatsoever when releasing an album for the first time because she cannot control the sales. The current trend is to go up north and shoot China series. Fala had opportunities to shoot in Mainland too, she said actually many production companies approached her, but she wants to choose carefully. She will quietly wait for the chance to shoot her first Mainland series. Fala said: "It's great shooting series at TVB and at the same time I can also accept jobs outside. Just stage work and ribbon-cutting ceremonies, there are already a lot of jobs." In May, Fala will start new series Triumph in the Skies II.
