Fala Chen has confidence for the December 5th TVB Anniversary Awards. She expressed everything is already the past and that during filming she tried her best to do the best. The other night, Malaysia Astro held the "AOD My Favourite 2011 Awards', Myolie Wu won Best Actress, while she and Michael Tse won the 'Favorite On-Screen Couple'. It was said the Astro awards are just 'condolence awards' and that Myolie's chances to get the TVB TV Queen award is greatly reduced. Fala was asked if she has more confidence to get TV Queen now? She said: "Both award presentations have different mechanisms and are by different hosts. Audiences' taste is different, each person will have a chance, it's very fair."

Also, it was rumored TVB deliberately wanted to use Curse of the Royal Harem (CRH) to push Myolie Wu for TV Queen and not Fala's Lives of Omission , in which her role was well-received. Fala said: "CRH is the anniversary series, so naturally the series will be heavily weighted. I also hope Lives of Omission could be broadcast during the anniversary period, it's hot and fresh."

Fala will be heading over to the States to recover from her [trigeminal] condition and had no choice but to withdraw from new series The Prominent Family. After Miss Hong Kong Rebecca Zhu replaced Fala in new film Laughing Gor Turning Point 2, she replaces her again in the new series. Looks like Rebecca is Fala's 'substitute'. Fala said: "I don't agree that we look alike. Rebecca was formally a dancer and a performer, I believe she will have different developments in her performances. As Miss HK, Rebecca has been working continuously, I am happy for her too."           

Michael Tse in My AOD

Michael Tse, Kevin Cheng, Myolie Wu, Sharon Chan, Bosco Wong and other TVB artists attended the Malaysian Astro Wah Lai Toi's AOD My Favourite Awards 2011 awards presentation the other night. That night, Michael was the big winner taking home 2.5 awards depended on his Lives of Omission -- 'My Favorite TV Theme Song', 'My Favorite TV Character' and shared 'My Favorite TV On-Screen Couple' with Fala Chen.

Michael expressed he was surprised to get the 'Theme Song' award: "Very surprising. When I get back to Hong Kong, the first thing I will do is share the 'On-Screen Couple' award with Fala!" When speaking of losing to Kevin Cheng on the 'Best Actor' award? Michael was not disappointed but instead was happy for him.





TVB 2012 Masterpieces



TVB recently promoting the two upcoming sequel for 2012, also known as Triumph in the Skies 2 and War and Beauty 2. Both are known for the most anticipated masterpiece, ratings are extraodinary high. "War and Beauty" is known as one of the best Chinese acient drama, the main sequel was successfully done with TVB actors and actresses such as Sheren Tang, Ada Choi, Charmaine Sheh, Moses Chan etc.

Another hit from TVB in 2003, "Triumph in the Skies" with young male stars Francis Ng, Raymond Lam and Ron Ng, the sequel will countinue with uncomfirmed casts such as Julian Cheung, Raymond Lam, Fala Chen, Myolie Wu etc. Although the young cast have grown up. their life and career will face new challenges, both series is worth to wait.

Fala suffer a facial paralysis; decided to give up "The Prominent Family"

During this time of year, TVB Anniversary Awards is coming along and hot queen Myolie and Fala is fighting for the sit. Fala Chen recently attended at the Giorgio Armani event, was dispassionate, losing lots of weight. On Wednesday, Fala went for a check up with her doctor, figuring out there are problems.



Among all the artistes. Fala can be considered as "fast speed", last year won Best Supporting Actress, this year she was nominated for Best Actress for the first time. Fala is currently filming "Palace Scheme of East and West" with Roger Kwok and Sharon Chan. Next year, Fala was schedule for 2 dramas "The Prominent Family" and "Triumph in the Skies II." Fala decided to gave up one.



Earlier next month Fala will start "The Prominent Family" after wrapping up Palace. After attending the Anniversary Awards Fala will return to United State to rest for about a month. Fala give us some facts during the exclusive interview: "The recent drama that I film "Palace Schemes of East and West", everything was going well, my health was good to beat the game. The pressure is the the headaches at night, but I never complaint or mention. Filming process is hard, no matter what, I countinue to suffer, but a few days ago, my left side completely inactive, during that moment I suspect to have a collapse. So I go went the hospital to have a check up, the doctor said I have facial paralysis, mainly because of  fatigue, too much work pressure, due to low blood pressure, in fact, I suddenly had a blackout, but I never went to the doctor, I'm afraid of finding bad news about my health. After the check up, the doctor said not to move the face too much, or it will sag. I'm quite worry, an actor counts on the facial expression and emotional feelings to act."



The doctor gave me advise to rest, I disscuss with my family and the company. After "Palace" I will take a good rest for about a month, but have received a Christmas and a New Year show I will come back. After the rest, I will return in January and in May, I will start filming "Triumph in the Skies 2". Fala's parents lived in U.S., Fala is left alone in Hong Kong, she always will try to avoid them from worries when theres' bad news, but this time, she give mommy a call to discuss. "Since I was young, I've do most things independently, study and work alone. Even if the filming pressure will only grow a part during this time with many negatives gossip about this year's war with TV King and Queen. My parents never hear me say that I'm not happy, they think I can handle it, but I want to make a good and right choice, filming (The Prominent Family) is an upper opportunity, I have to decide if I should forget the health and start filming or the give up, I will discuss with my parents, cause family is incomparable, In fact, at first I didn't want to talk much about it, fearing that they would be too worry about it."



After the parents know, they're very nervous, but made a clear long-term development, that she must have a good and healthy body. "Daddy and Mommy call back to ask me how I was, I'm always alone, so are my parents, the children will not have a big success, if their physical or health is bad, they didn't told me to gave up and return to U.S., but I think the company will give me much more oppotunities, increasing more responsibility to me for the future, I want to do it much better, but must have a good body in order to meet future challenges."

Fala Chen withdrawal from the series and on break for a month

This year's hottest TV Queen favorites Myolie and Fala were revealing front and back respectively. In a back-revealing dress, Fala had Emperor Jewellery sponsor her diamond accessories valued at HK$16 million. Recently Fala has been feeling a numb and stiff feeling on her face, and the doctor said there is some issues with her trigeminal nerve. Fala is currently finishing up with the shooting of new series Schemes of East and West, so she just relying on pain killers to manage her condition. Valuing her health, Fala plans to seek medical treatment and take time off in the U.S, however, she insists on attending the TVB Anniversary before she leaves. Initially Fala was part of the cast to two of TVB's 40 episode grand productions Prominent Family and Triumph in the Skies II, but since Prominent Family has already held their costume fitting, she will have to withdraw from the series and wait until she recovers before she gets back to work. Regarding this, Fala admitted: "Because my body is giving me a warning, I've been busy shooting series and haven't had the time to go see the doctor. Actually I have already been feeling unwell for two months. The doctor said before I have problems in my trigeminal nerve and is perhaps caused by exhaustion and strain. (If the condition is serious, you could be paralyzed?) The doctor said that too, so I'm really afraid. An actress relies on her looks to make a living, so I have been taking pain killers. I will wait for some 10 days when I complete Schemes of East and West to seek medical treatment back in the U.S and I will also take a month off."

Ron Ng Not Sure Who Will Replace Fala in TPF

It was said because Fala Chen fell ill that she had to withdraw from new series The Prominent Family. As one of the cast members, Ron frankly said he just found out about the news: "Initially I was suppose to be involved in a love triangle with Kenneth Ma and Fala, but now I'm not sure who will replace. This series will start on December 8th, not sure if the schedule will be postponed or not, but I do hope Fala recovers soon and that she takes advantage of this time for a little break!"

TVB's annual Sales Presentation 2012 was held last night at TVB City. Nearly 140 artists attended to greet the advertisers. All artists dress in their favorite designer brand to show off their charms in the limelight. Myolie Wu and Fala Chen recently rumor fighting over the TV Queen tittle. Myolie laughed and said she didn't let rumored boyfriend Bosco Wong approve of her outfit before wearing it. Asked if she is particularly putting in more effort this year? She said: "I have always been putting in the effort, when appropriate I will charge forward!

Dressed in a champagne-colored evening dress and goes hand in hand with Michael Tse and Roger Kwok, Fala was dressed rather conservatively. She said she is saving her sexiness for later: "It will be better during the TVB Anniversary celebration, then there will be the TVB Anniversary Awards Ceremony. It's like a trilogy!"
